What do I need to enter the data center?

  • Security controls include 24 x 7 presence, by either Security guard and/or local Data Center Operations personnel, sign-in procedures for all ingress and egress, managed key and/or access card plans, hand bio-scanner and mantrap, managed access permissions and access request methods.
    • All persons entering the data center must possess a valid government issued photo ID. Eligible IDs are limited to the following: Driver’s license of State Issued ID.
    • Government-issued identification card
    • Passport
    • Military identification card All identification must be valid and in effect at the time admittance is requested. Regardless of the frequency of visits to the site, once an ID has expired admittance to the facility will be denied.
  • Identification cards issued by employers (company ID’s) are not acceptable.
  • Other forms of identification that are not issued by government agencies, such as credit cards, are not acceptable.
  • Badges are property of Evoque and are revocable
  • Badges are not transferable and may not be shared at any time.
  • Customers are restricted to authorized areas only, including the lobby, customer lounge, conference rooms, common areas and customer’s own space on the data center floor.
  • All customers must use mantrap access points
  • Vendors and those without a customer badge will enter the secured area of the facility through a bypass area with their Evoque security escort. Vendors are required to proceed straight to the designated work area.
  • Evoque has a strict policy against tailgating. Tailgaters will be denied access to the facility.
